First: measure your child. You can then compare the measurements with our size chart to get an idea of which bike will suit your child. If you would like accurate fitting advice, please call or email our friendly staff, who will be happy to discuss your particular requirements.
You can place your order on line or over the phone at 503 954 2410. Our offices are open from 9am – 5pm Pacific Time, Monday – Friday.
If you would like to try before you buy then you can come and visit our Fitting Studio where there is room for bikes to be tried indoors. Our fitting studio is open 9am – 5pm Monday – Saturday and is located in Portland, OR.
We accept Visa, MasterCard or Discover. Please note we are unable to accept American Express.
If your Islabike is in stock, you will normally receive it within 2-10 working days depending on your location, except Rothans, which you should receive within 2-5 working days of us receiving your order. You will receive an email once your order has been shipped. For further information on delivery please view our delivery page.
Islabikes endeavors to deliver within the time frame quoted at the point of placing your order. The goods will be packaged securely and labeled clearly. If any item you have chosen is not available we will contact you via e-mail or telephone before the quoted delivery times expires. If we are not able to offer a suitable alternative date for delivery we will happily refund all money paid within 30 days of the order being placed.
Shipping bikes and accessories is free within the contiguous United States.
We do charge shipping for bikes to Alaska, Hawaii, Canada, Mexico or other foreign destinations. For deliveries outside of the U.S., the customer is responsible for any import duties or taxes.
Every Islabike undergoes a thorough pre-delivery inspection and final assembly procedure by one of our professional technicians to ensure:
- it is safe to ride,
- it features child-specific adjustments,
- and it is quality assured.
Every Islabike is carefully assembled and quality checked in accordance with CPSC and ISO standards. We set up the brakes so the rider’s left hand will operate the front brake, with the exception of the Rothan, our balance bike, which only uses a rear brake.
When you receive your Islabike there will be a few simple tasks for you to complete:
For Cnocs and Rothans
Your bike will be fully assembled and everything adjusted so it is ready to ride before it leaves us. We do have to package it for shipping, so when you receive it you will need to straighten the handlebars and fit the pedals. There are illustrated instructions in your bike’s box that explain how to do this.
For Beinns and Luaths
Your bike will be fully assembled and everything adjusted so it is ready to ride before it leaves here. We do have to package it for shipping, so when you receive it you will need to fit the front wheel using the quick release and fit the pedals. If you order fenders with your bike you will also need to straighten the handlebars. There are illustrated instructions in your bike’s box that explain how to do this.
If your purchase is intended as a gift we recommend unpacking and checking it prior to the special occasion.
4. Right to Cancel
To cancel your order please contact our friendly customer services team at 503 954 2410 within 14 days of ordering. Please ensure you retain possession of your invoice and take reasonable care of it. Islabikes retains the right to inspect any returns and deduct damages for wear and tear or damage.
If you are not satisfied, we will pick up your Islabike, no questions asked, within 90 days of receipt, at our cost. You may test ride your Islabike on a clean dry surface. Please retain possession of your invoice and take reasonable care of it; we ask that items are returned in their original packaging.
Once we have received your bike, we will issue your refund within 14 days. Islabikes retains the right to inspect any returns and deduct damages for excessive wear and tear or damage. Parcels that are returned to us remain the customer’s responsibility and a refund will not be given until we have safely received the package undamaged. We have full packaging instructions available to assist with the safe return of a parcel.

6. After Sales Service Guarantee
Your Islabike comes with a 5-year guarantee on its frame and fork and a 2-year guarantee on parts. This covers faulty manufacturing but not normal wear and tear. This guarantee only applies to the original purchaser of the bike. For warranty support, your Islabike must remain within the United States or Canada.

Your statutory rights are not affected by the guarantee.

We stock of most spare and replacement parts specifically for our customers’ use in the upkeep of their Islabikes. For current availability and to place an order, please call us at 503 954 2410 between 9am and 5pm Pacific Time, Monday – Friday.
